Nicolas Chaudron

Nicolas Chaudron joined AGF Private Equity in 2001. Since 2006 he has been focusing on the cleantech sector and he led AGF Private Equity's investment in Odersun (thin-film solar cells) as an example. Prior to that, Nicolas Chaudron worked mainly in the sectors of information technology and semiconductors, and he led AGF Private Equity's investments in Soamai (sold to ASG), Alchimer, Median Technologies, and Telemarket. Between 2001 and 2005, he was also a board member of several start-ups, including Siriatech and Vizelia, two cleantech pioneers in France.

Before joining AGF Private Equity, Nicolas Chaudron started his career in venture capital at Europatweb, the Internet investment company founded by Bernard Arnault. In addition to his involvement in the operational launch of Europatweb, he participated in various investments and led the one in Webhelp (LBO exit in 2007).

Nicolas Chaudron is an alumnus of the Ecole normale supérieure (Paris, France) and of the Peking University (Beijing, China). He holds an MSc in mathematics from the University of Paris IV, an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs, and an MBA from the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), where he was a Palmer Scholar.
